ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jack Pendarvis has written one previous novel, three collections of short stories, and a nonfiction book about cigarette lighters. He won two Emmys for his work on the animated TV series Adventure Time. His story “The Wild Man of Mississippi” was featured in the 2019 Short Story Advent Calendar.
